Tax Relief
Skyrocketing property taxes and rising costs are squeezing working families and making it harder for long-time residents to stay in the communities they've helped build.
While serving on Council, I'll fight against never-ending tax hikes, push for fiscal responsibility citywide, and demand greater accountability for how taxpayer dollars are spent.
I'll also work to strengthen our business corridors, bring vacant storefronts and properties back into productive use, and grow our local tax base so the burden doesn't continue falling on the same families and businesses.
Public Safety You Can Count On
Every neighbor deserves to feel safe on their block, in our parks, and in their home. I'll work directly with residents across the 30th Ward on proactive strategies that make our neighborhoods safer, while fighting to ensure our ward gets its fair share of public safety resources at every level of city government.
That means making sure our police have the staffing, tools, training, and resources they need to do their jobs effectively, supporting the hiring and retention of qualified officers, and making sure our neighborhoods have the police presence they need when they need it.
Strong Neighborhoods & Responsive Services
Strong neighborhoods are built block by block, and it starts with a ward office that actually listens. As your Alderman, I'll run a ward office that answers your calls, follows through, and makes sure every resident in the 30th Ward gets the same level of attention, no matter what block you live on.
Whether it's a pothole, a broken streetlight, or a concern about a local park, I want your voice heard. Once you've filed a report, my office will follow up and push for priority attention, so your concern doesn't get lost in the shuffle. And because I know firsthand what it takes to run a small business, I'll bring that same attentiveness to our commercial corridors, making sure the entrepreneurs who anchor our neighborhoods have someone in their corner in City Council.
