Judy Velez believes in leadership that listens, integrity grounded in service, and policies built for working families. A wife, mother, and small business owner, Judy has called the 30th Ward home for nearly 14 years — raising her family right here in the neighborhoods she's fighting for.
 

Judy's commitment to this community started long before this campaign. As a member of the Local School Council, she's spent years speaking up for the improvements our neighborhoods deserve — safer streets, better city services, and real accountability at City Hall. Now, she's ready to bring that same voice to the Northwest Side as our next Alderman.

Judy's priorities are simple: affordability and taxes that work for families, public safety residents can count on, and strong neighborhoods built to last. She believes leadership means showing up, listening first, and putting residents ahead of politics as usual.
